Simple and Uncreative Nowadays Music Don’t Heal Our Soul

Let the music heal your soul. It is indeed true since when a person is listening to his favorite music when he is feeling depressed, he will feel better after listening to them. Or even singing them in his way. But I find out that music these days don’t really make us feel more comfortable after listening to them. Not only the lyrics that don’t really comfort the one who listens. But the melodies are mostly techno and computerized. However, oldies music or music during 80’s and 90’s are still featuring genuine musical instruments. This is the main key for the soul healing.

You know for sure what kind of music that really heals soul. Kitaro and Yanni’s songs are only to name a few. Some songs of Vangelis and Enya are also comforting. Their songs are mostly used for yoga classes or other activities linked to spiritual activities. However, people still feel comfortable wearing the voice of their favorite singers or group. Other soul comforting songs may come from Francis Goya or Paul Mauriat.music issue

Well, that’s my opinion. Yet, people these days prefer to listen to the latest songs, no matter whether the songs may be good in quality or not. Good quality here means the lyrics and the melody. Some songs by latest singers—mostly newbies or those miserable boy bands—are singing old songs which were rearranged. Well, some people still like it. But I think they are merely uncreative. Even though they modify the songs into different genre—just like easy listening pop into rap—I still don’t think that they are creative enough in composing their own lyrics and melody. The worse thing is that the oldies song was recycled in the very same melody! You know for sure who sings the recycled version of ‘I Have A Dream’ in the same tunes. The difference only lies on the singers.

Oldies music was mostly composed with full combination of harmony and melody. The singer was mostly singing with all his or her soul. It is different with nowadays singers. They prefer to launch only a single album. When they have managed to make three albums, then they launch ‘THE BEST’ album. I find this very uncreative step of those singers or groups to get lots of dollars.

Well, not all singers and groups do that way. But most of them do and I really appreciate lots of singers and groups who compose their own songs. Yet, I still find out that rarely songs from the last decade can really heal our soul.

    Open iTunes and go to
    Edit
    Preferences
    click the General tab
click Import Settings (about halfway down the box)
    Import Using > MP3 Encoder.

caveat: I can't remember if I had to set up my LAME encoder to iTunes as I've had iTunes set to import as MP3 for a long time now. If it then asks you to set up an MP3 encoder, you can download LAME or probably use the one in Media Player.

Technology has made it possible for a single producer to make an entire track. We can bypass cajoling the bass player into playing your bass part, or cursing the quirks of your drummer but – just like persuading a wayward bunch of musicians into playing along – getting the parts of your track to work together in a mix can be just as troublesome.

My first impression is that Microsoft is waiting for people to complain about it before they will release a fix patch for it.

This tends to be standard operating procedure at MS, rather than release a well-tested and solid product, they let users that are willing to run out and pay good money for untested software test it for them.

I guess from a money making standpoint this makes sense, since even if you tested your software for months and months, as soon as you release it, someone will try doing something you didn't think to test, and you end up having to fix stuff anyway.

1 YouTube is a VIDEO site… not audio.

#2 YouTube rules expressly prohibit uploading copyrighted materials. If you got it from iTunes, it's copyrighted. Purchasing music from iTunes or any other source gives you the right to listen to the music… NOT reproduce or distribute it.

#3 Before trying to use the "fair use" clause to your advantage, educate yourself in copyright law. You'll see that claiming "fair use" doesn't cover 99.999% of the videos on YouTube that try to claim it.
